Welcome to my profile! My name is Todd (or Toddlidoo). I’m part-time cat, part-time model. Just look at my pictures! Don’t be fooled by my dark coat: I’m absolutely de-LIGHT-ful! I’m a total sweetheart who has completely lit up my foster mom’s life. I’m devastatingly handsome, sporting my very own white bib and a sprinkle of white hair. I’m gentle and curious, I love people, and I follow my foster mom around everywhere she goes. My love language is definitely physical touch: get ready for some head butts and to get your feet and ankles tickled by my wet kisses. I also have excellent manners: I’ll gently tap you on the nose with my paw when I’m hungry and occasionally meow (the cutest little meow) if I require some attention. Head and chin scritches, brushing sessions, and looking out the window are the best. I also go crazy for nylon mesh tubes, laser pointers and lickable cat treats. If I must say so, I’m pretty hilarious, often getting the zoomies and trying to catch my own tail. In addition, I have a knack for finding the best sleeping spots in the house: anywhere soft and cozy is perfect, and you’ll find me snoozing against your legs in bed in the morning. I would love to find a quiet home where I’ll be the only cat, as I get quite scared when other pets are around. I should be introduced slowly to my new home, starting in a room where I feel safe to get accustomed to the new smells and sounds of my surroundings. My foster mom said she’ll miss me very much when I get adopted, but that it’ll be the best day of her life. Will you be my forever family? P.S. I almost forgot… I love the taste of toothpaste and will let you brush my teeth. Could I be any more perfect?!? Health & Dietary Needs: Todd has a food sensitivity to chicken and is currently eating and doing well on Hill's Prescription Diet: Food Sensitivities z/d and Royal Canin Hypollergenic Hydrolyzed protein with an SO Index dry food. Todd had a history of stress induced Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, which showed itself when highly stressed. Since being in foster care he has had no issues. We recommend a quiet stable home with no other pets to reduce any potential stressors and to continue on his diet with SO Index for urinary health.
ADOPTION FEE: The Special Needs adoption fee is $165.00 (which includes a health check, first vaccination in a series and any that become due while in care, first anti-parasite treatments needed in care, spay or neuter and microchip at our Veterinary partner). There is a 10% discount when you adopt 2 cats/kittens. The adopter will be responsible for any vaccine or boosters, anti-parasite treatments that are needed after adoption. Kittens usually need 3 vaccines, one month apart starting at age 7 weeks. Juveniles and Adult cats usually require 2 vaccines one month apart in the first year, then annual vaccines. Deworming is recommended at the time of each vaccine appointment. If you are intending to adopt, please be aware that your Veterinary clinic may be experiencing backlogs in scheduling appointments, so do not delay calling your clinic to book your new cat's needed booster appointment(s). Please note that cats are not tested for FIV/FeLV nor can FIP be predicted. We will share any medical information gathered during our health checks and observations revealed during their time in care. But it is important to know that some illnesses can have an incubation period of 10 days, which means that a cat can leave in good health but get sick a few days post adoption. In addition, the stress of a new environment can affect a cats’ immune system.
